Yes I have two accounts myself. This one is my goto account. Ulrike is for when I travel. Safer due to a lot of private information stored under Uli.
Danimal is my oldest son's account. That comp stayed with me and I have permission/ login rights to it.

When I first started on Seti Classic, every computer I was crunching on had a different account. I quickly switched all of them to one account and it's the only one I've had since then.

I will answer in public to David or Dave. Under certain circumstances, I will also answer, or at least turn my head, when I hear my Facebook name.

It also drives me nuts when people change their names and avatars here. That's why I added the David S without removing the N9JFE. I will do that eventually. Really, at this point it's more a matter of laziness than thinking it hasn't been long enough for everyone to get used to it.

On some private bulletin boards you can have the option to log on as "hidden", so only the Admin can see you. I don't think you can do that here in Seti. In some cases people get given a hard time, and come back with a different personality and a new name. And there are some that think it's "amusing" to change their login name and avatar on a regular basis, including their apparent country of residence. And there are yet others that have dozens of multiple accounts, such that when any one of them is banned they can still post.

The Mods and Admins here are well on top of all the above, and are more savvy than some people give them credit for, as are a lot of us. I only sparingly post my ugly mug for obvious reasons.

I have three names I will answer to in public.

I understand Uli completely, really frustrating if people hide their real identity. I know it's the internet but we all know and kinda trust one another over here, or at least this should be the case.

I for one, immediately recognize someone's posting style, hence I know who the person is.
