Pun Wars!
I should at this time like to take a moment to
praise and honour my worthy opponents.
In spite of all of their skills, and the
sheer raw intellect they displayed during the
competition, I was able, by some fantastic
turn of events, to mop up the floor. I would also
like to thank them for the fact that their abilities and
efforts only served to make my wonderful
victory look even better than it most assuredly
was.
As some of you mere mortals may have heard, one
must strive mightily to be the King, but
I can assure you all that for this champion, it
is always well worth the effort!

Back in the day when Fridaynight pun wars were regular staple. Anglea ( my pun war cofounder) And myself tried the winner picks the topic for the next pun war. It did not seem to pan out.
We found it more conductive for more participation to have a prebanter of differant subjects.
When one particular subject was predominant, The King or Queen then said, We have a topic.
However, That was then, Time marches on. And rules can and do change. But Julie is the OP of this thread
I Really enjoyed last Fridays pun war. It was great to see my Friend Angela rip me a new one as normal:)
