Summary: drivers starting from 340.52 through 341.44 (not including) are inappropriate for using with pre-FERMI devices and OpenCL AstroPulse. Either use older driver or upgrade to 341.44. |

Or optionally upgrade from Pre Fermi to something that will compute faster burning less trees :). "Living by the wisdom of computer science doesn't sound so bad after all. And unlike most advice, it's backed up by proofs." -- Algorithms to live by: The computer science of human decisions. |

Or optionally upgrade from Pre Fermi to something that will compute faster burning less trees :). What, The 8500 GT I am using is to slow for the amount of power is uses?! I wish I could replace it, but it's a work compy. I keep getting teased that I'll get to replace the machine, but then we keep having budget issues. :/ Also is anyone keeping a list of NV drivers for people to reference like the ATI Driver Version Cheat Sheet I make? Also is anyone keeping a list of NV drivers for people to reference like the ATI Driver Version Cheat Sheet I make? I'd imagine, sadly, probably not, since that's probably the first major OpenCL schism, and I recall no particular problem Cuda drivers that push things to the point of recall. Claggy's probably your best bet to talk to, as defacto head of the Boinc Emergency Response Team ( BERT ) "Living by the wisdom of computer science doesn't sound so bad after all.
