I will not go in to all the times my inability to
remember names has caused me terrible embarrassment
all through my life. Lucky for me my friends and family
love me very much. If my popularity depended on my
ability to remember names, I would be a very, very
lonely man.

I tried to save someone else from the embarrassment of having got my name wrong once. Will NEVER do it again. Got really embarrassing really quickly :) Didn't realise it was a name-tag event. Instead of passing me the pen after she'd written her name on a tag, she helpfully wrote out one for me too. Everyone else who knew me as Annie at the meeting were so confused by my tag... because it said Mary. :)
