System locks up when using video card

NIVDA video card: GeForce GTX 260. Driver version 340.52. The system will run fine for a while but eventually it will lock up. Mouse, keyboard are non responsive. I turned off use of the video card and everything was ok for two days. I turned use of card today and the system has locked up twice. I expect the problem maybe with the Driver. If I remember correctly that was updated recently, maybe about the time the problems started? Known problem? Help? I would like to use the video card for Seti work. ID: 1567105 ·

Last update of Nvidia had reports of causing some problems with Seti and GPUs, CPUs utilization. For now reverting back to previous nvidia driver from Nvidia website is recommended.
