G'morning everyone, I'm still trying to get use to this daylight savings (I should be right by next week).

Wine, I found that it comes out the same way it went in (not very nice at all).

Ok public holiday Beer O'clock in just over 4hrs.

Cheers.

G'morning everyone, took an extra power nap this morning which was well needed. I did enjoy a tall beer last night that was a treat after a month of none. :D

Hope the car runs this morning, it doesn't like sitting for so long. :))
Cheers everybody

That's good to hear Gordon. I found out a few of months back that I can't leave my car in the shed for a couple months without the battery going flat.

No fuss here about it Chris, it's just a matter of getting the body clock readjusted for it. ;-)

3hrs to go. :-)

Cheers.

I really don't know why everyone makes so much fuss about the clocks going back or forward 1 hour. So at two times in the year you either get an extra hour in bed or you lose one. Does the world stop turning? Is your house and job still there? Friends, family still around? Car still in the garage? Jolly good.

Next.

*Bulging eyes* but-but... *strangulated squawking noise* it's messing with time *horrified air of general doom* Greenwich Mean time has it's own line on the floor and everything! And everyone knows what BS stands for :) and it's not British Summer(SNORT)pop-a-jumper-on-instead-of-a-coat time...

I rest my case :))))

Oh... I also like your knight!! :)

edit: Forgot to say hello. Evening everyone! :)

G'day Annie, I hope that you're having a better day today.

Probably if I wasn't such an early riser the first few days of daylight savings wouldn't throw my body clock out so much. ;-)

1hr to go.

Cheers.

Ever since my mother got sick back in March, I've been alternating driving her car with mine. Mine is a manual transmission, and I've found it gets a little stiff if left for more than a week, plus the brakes get funny.

I think someone was playing with my door and the battery went dead. It started just fine today.

DST? oh man, first sunday in November here I think.

Only got one beer down today, so much for my 6 pack ab's. lost 20 pounds worth of beer I think.
Cheers everybody

I've been upset ever since they changed the Fall Back to after Halloween because it means the trick or treaters have to wait longer for it to get dark.

Glad the car started Grant :) and hope you're feeling better with each passing day.

I don't have any problems when we go back to GMT :) but as it takes me about seven months to get used to BST and we only have that for six months at a time - well - you can see the problem :)

*rummage* ooh! *clink* erm... just making sure there's... you know... room for Julie's restock later :)

From what I have been told that during the war DST was as much as 2 hours ahead. I have no proof of this, talk about blowing your mind. :))

Oh Lord, look at the time... Will try for the restock tonight guys, have to get up at 05.30am to drop Wingdi off at the station. If needed I'm sure Mike could provide you with some of his home brewskies if the shelves get empty here:) Cheers!

Seti and the ISS use UTC.

I just wish there was a way to set my message board display so it shows time the way I like it.

As the weather gets cooler here Mike, I use a heating pad under the fermenter to maintain a good temp while brewing (it should be still ok though). ;-)

Well after a long morning in town (the Doc was 90mins late for our 9am appointment) and a few interruptions on arrival back home, it's finally Beer O'clock.

Cheers.
