Just don't over it Grant, take it easy. Annie, you must stop face smashing yourself, though I'm still having a few probs getting use to this new keyboard here (even after a month with it). Coffee time again. Cheers. |

Just don't over it Grant, take it easy. Mine appears to have recovered from it's schizophrenic caps-lock-is-not-capitals-oh-yes-it-is-no-it-isn't phase - which is good... because it was starting to make my hair stand on end which got me worrying about the electrics. Just posted in the breakfast thread and now I can't stop thinking of mangoes. Suppose I could eat breakfast before I go to bed... |

Just posted in the breakfast thread and now I can't stop thinking of mangoes. Suppose I could eat breakfast before I go to bed... My mom has been asking for ice cream for breakfast and corn flakes for dinner, so it's all good. ;~} Mt. Dew o'clock @ the moment. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

My problem Annie is that I'm now using a normal keyboard instead of the oversize 1 that died on me after 9.5yrs so I'm not always tapping the keys that I want.
Sounds good there Grant. G'day Gordon, I take it that you're back on the job again. Well I got in a few down at the pub without getting into any trouble. :-D Cheers. |

G'day Gordon, I take it that you're back on the job again. Yup, hard at work, or hardly working; whatever the case may be. ;~} Raining cats and dogs outside, which figures, as I cut the grass yesterday. Come to think of it, I wonder where that phrase, "raining cats and dogs" came from? The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Well enjoy which ever it is Gordon. ;-) Wiggo, how hard is it to get home brew in your country (by the bottle?) Over here we have Homebrew Suppliers everywhere, even the small country towns out here have them and the local village supermarket here carries all the beer ingredients, but here's a link to 1 of our better known online suppliers in the country. http://www.aussiebrewer.com.au/ Time for another beer. Cheers. |

Come to think of it, I wonder where that phrase, "raining cats and dogs" came from? Here you go "The probable source of 'raining cats and dogs' is the prosaic fact that, in the filthy streets of 17th/18th century England, heavy rain would occasionally carry along dead animals and other debris. The animals didn't fall from the sky, but the sight of dead cats and dogs floating by in storms could well have caused the coining of this colourful phrase. Jonathan Swift described such an event in his satirical poem 'A Description of a City Shower', first published in the 1710 collection of the Tatler magazine. The poem was a denunciation of contemporary London society and its meaning has been much debated. While the poem is metaphorical and doesn't describe a specific flood, it seems that, in describing water-borne animal corpses, Swift was referring to an occurrence that his readers would have been well familiar with" Er nice!! |

No that's what i'm saying I wanted to tast my first brew if any goog is all and tell me what you think is all. Some homebrew stores here will have taste testing days, but mostly you'll either have to try what others are brewing or trail and error your own. Though those homebrew clubs that you have over there may hold their own taste testing days so contacting them maybe the go. Myself, I just tried whatever I could get my hands on until I settled on what suited me (thankfully what I liked the best is the most popular and easiest available here). From that last link I posted Grant you can see what I mean by you having a very limited choice in the way you can brew beer over there though the supply stores should be able to give you a good idea of what to try based on the beer/s that you normally drink. Cheers. |

Come to think of it, I wonder where that phrase, "raining cats and dogs" came from? Interesting. I have heard of frogs literally falling from the sky. If anyone ever saw the movie, "Magnolia", it depicts that in a dark comedy sort of way. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |
