Ordered a kit of Coopers already.

Seti's micro brewery is about to launch on another continent? YAY!!! :) Evening everyone - totally forgot about the outrage today so was more than usually outraged... happy now though :)

Well my brother did it years ago but the long process.
The beer tasted very good, so i will try that out.

G'morning everybody.

Nothing wrong with having your own personal microbrewery Annie, it keeps some of us out of trouble and off the streets. ;-)

Thanks Wiggo

Found that too.

Seeing as you like Fosters Mike you'd likely wind up doing what my brother does and add around a 1/3rd of a cup of lactose to the brew to sweeten it slightly (my brother like VB which is very similar in taste to Fosters).

Hello Zapped.

Beer O'clock in under 4.5hrs.

Cheers.

Good morning Wiggo.

The first brew will be the original recipe, i will just use malt instead of sugar like we germans always brew our beer.
I can make up to 30 litres in one go so thats fine by me.

Good luck with it Mike, also the no.1 rule is make sure that everything is clean and sterilised properly so as to have no failures.

In 25yrs I've never lost a brew, but if I ever do have a bad brew, then I'd just put that brew through my still (no need to waste the alcohol) and I only ever had 5 bottles in all that time go pop. :-)

Cheers.

2 months minimum is my personal rule Mike though longer is even better, currently I'm drinking beer that has been aged for 5 months, but by the time summer hits here the beer will be even older than that by a month or 2 (I have 38 dozen 750ml bottles that I rotate with my beers).

Cheers.

And that's the best thing about brewing your own Grant, as you can perfect the taste to suit yourself, though I've yet to find someone who doesn't like my beer. :-D

Time for another morning coffee.

Cheers.
