A 15-year-old girl on the way to the Islamic state in Syria was stopped recently at the last moment at Heathrow airport. The plane she sat in had taxied out, but police got it to abort.

Kurds Find Unity in Fighting Islamic State.
And in Beer:)

Sons of Kurdish immigrants to Sweden, the two came together in a bid to persuade the world to associate their people with their beer, Ava Zêr, Kurdish for “gold water,” rather than the violent conflict with Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

Nosh and Cheers.

There is a bill underway in Sweden where you want to ban these trips to countries affected by war. Both Syria and Ukraine have received these mercenaries, both women and men.

"The best time to stop these young people becoming radicalised is before they go [abroad]", Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe told Andrew Marr
From 2 months ago.
According to the SÄPO (FBI) at least 85 Swedish young Muslims traveled to Syria and Iraq to fight for Isis and Al Qaeda. The number of Europeans who made the same journey has grown from about 2000-3000 in just a few months, this according to the EU's anti-terror chief.

(Another quick in and out post, then gone again)
So put your T-shirt back on & be a man!

I said here previously that the UK Parliament was very unlikely to vote for across the board British "boots on the ground" to deal with this matter. I said that it was most likely that Special Forces operations would be sanctioned as the best way forward. I'm pleased to confirm that I was correct in my assessment, which is now being publicised.
That was obvious for many to see. however, just like the civilian pukes in the MOD...

..."Why the hell don't the MOD keep their traps shut? This sort of release costs the lives of our soldiers." You just have to gloat regardless of the consequences!

Apologies for the source on the first one.
Why? Regardless of who reports it, it's happening...

...or are you implying that it's all crap?

1500 more advisers or troops, so say Obama.

Looks like that is confirmed
"He said President Obama would also be asking Congress for $5.6bn to support the ongoing operations against IS fighters in both Iraq and Syria."
I thought your economy was in the crapper?
Funny that no matter what situation your economy is in, there is always money for military expenditure.

Why do you think the idiots we elect keep wanting to cut other programs? Got to have money to meddle in some rat infested countrys who hate us to death.
Should have left Sadam alone. We would not have this mess. We only had to kick his butt when he got out of line like he did with Kuwait.
Let those stinking rotten cesspools they call nations fight each other to death. The world be well to have them die.

Well, oh, well. Hmm, if I would be politically correct, I should protest of course. However, I'm not one of those who needs to be politically correct all the time...

I really like the term "politically correct".
It implies that there is only one opinion that is correct:)
That is of course nonsens.
So I stick to my own opinions, correct or not correct.

Sending in troops doesn't seems like a good idea.
Maybe some advisers and trainers perhaps like Germany have done.
And some support from US Air Force as before.
If western countries gets more involved in the region then the problem will be much worse.

Agree. These incremental increases have rarely worked.

Unless we, and I mean The USA, decides to Deploy and Use very large destructive power: Adviser's, Trainers, and Special Forces - to direct Air Strikes, should be the extent of our involvement.
