The '85 RX7 GSLSE might find a buyer for around $20,000.00 on the right market. Don't give it away, it is VERY special. There are few left in existence, and it has only about 10,000 miles on a brand new motor. Good looking cats. :~) I so rarely see RX7's, but black is usually the color. Looks great in that picture. Too bad about the hail storm - I don't know how body shops get those dings out. The mind is a weird and mysterious place

Not too bad, but some of the dents are visible. This pic is before that event. Also in the picture are my first two kitties, Tigger and Squirrel, who have both since passed on. "Learn from yesterday. Mark, this is a little crazy. But holding considerable respect of your skills at building crunchers. I am not asking for anything, but if no one is willing to keep your machines crunching I would be willing to host them and keep them running in your name. That is a very thoughtful offer, Carlos. Nobody I know on this end has the interest I do in Seti. Lori is completely aware of it, but it is just not something she would want to do. The good Lord willing, I plan on being around a long long time yet, so hopefully this has all just been constructive and very preliminary talk on my part. But, Carlos.... You have brought a smile into my heart today just knowing that you would consider doing such a thing for me. Bless you. Meowsmile. "Learn from yesterday. Live for today. Hope for tomorrow." Last we talked. I thought we agreed to cover our critters. Yes, and thank you. Lori and myself have the same verbal understanding. She knows that if anything were to happen to her, her 4 wonderful kitties would be well cared for. "Learn from yesterday. Live for today. Hope for tomorrow." Albert Einstein "With cats." kittyman

It has been suggested that I form a will. I dunno, my worldly things mean a bit to me, but to anybody else? I suppose they are correct, as in the absence of any living will or otherwise, the state would do as they wish with what may remain of my life's work. The sum total of what I have and what I owe may even out, at best. I have spent most of my money doing what I for whatever reasons, love the most. Crunching Seti. Hundreds of dollars a month I have spent on this for some 14 years, so there is just not going to be much left to quibble about for those I might leave behind. My computers are worth nothing to anybody but myself. There are but a few people in the world that would recognize the worth of most of the components. I built them from scratch, and if they stop running, there are few that would be able to restart them. Most of the parts were gifts to me. So, the computers are recyclable, I guess. And that humming noise on top of the last computer on the left? It's not a bomb. Just shut it off and you will be OK. If you have a clue what to do with 23 GPUs and 9 CPUs, YOU should have been doing this, not just me... The house..........it has kept the rain from my head for some 34 years now, as of this writing. With minimal maintenance from myself. It is what it is. Nothing to fight over. You might find a few dollars in a couple of 401k accounts. Not much, so don't bother gold digging. You'll wear out your shovel before you find much. I drive a 24yo Oldsmobile, so any grandkids better find a better ride. The '85 RX7 GSLSE might find a buyer for around $20,000.00 on the right market. Don't give it away, it is VERY special. There are few left in existence, and it has only about 10,000 miles on a brand new motor. If one were to take inventory and parse some things out on ebay, you might find some treasures. Like a couple of Sony Elcaset decks. Vintage. There is a case of un opened Sony tapes for them just down the hall. A wild card would be the 4 Scully studio broadcast level tape decks and recording amps. I know of one other person, in a studio in Russia, that has ever expressed an interest in them. They just don't exist anywhere else anymore. You may find a buyer if you take the time. The Teac X1000R deck is bound to find some soul that does not believe they still exist. Also vintage. The Nakamichi power amps for the stereo system were a grand a pop new, and some consider them collectables now. Don't take less than $1500.00 each, they are worth that. The 3 dbx 165a limiters are no longer available, and also very highly valued. $800.00 each, bottom line. 5000 or so vinyl albums. Some are worth hundreds a copy, if you know what you are looking at. I do, do you? Get a collector's guide and start shopping them around...it will take some time, but there are gems there. My treasures were the double copies of Joan Baez's first recording on Vanguard Records. There are two copies there, don't confuse them. One is in stereo, worth maybe 50. The other is a mint monaural copy, that is worth maybe 500.00, again, you have to find the right buyer. So.......... Plain and simple. Have at it, any who shall remain after I pass. I leave all that shall remain to, in the following order, delete those who may have passed before me. All is to be equally divided. If everybody gets a ten spot, well, then, LOL, that's all that there is..... First, to my kitties. It is only fitting that since I cherished them most in life, they should be the most important to be taken care of upon my death. Any and all funds left in my name shall be first and foremost be earmarked for my remaining kitties' care. They shall be placed in foster homes with people who understand and can care for them properly, as I am sure they shall be rather lost in my absence. See to that above all else. They shall need much reassurance and comfort. And I shall be watching from above. You know I shall. Everything and anything else that remains, can be equally divided between my father, mother, and brothers, should any survive me. I do also declare the right to edit or change this living trust at any point in time between now and my passing, should I deem it necessary. Should this scientific project fail, and it's forums be lost, the last hard copy of this post by date printed shall prevail. "Learn from yesterday. Live for today. Hope for tomorrow."
