Darth Vader Cat will Force-purr you into submission
Darth Vader in cat form takes on its Jedi owner in a sci-fi battle worthy of a George Lucas movie.

YouTube channel Kaipotainment posted a video simply titled "Darth Vader Cat" on Friday. It starts off with a cat owner coming home to find his helmeted Sith Lord tabby sitting on the kitchen counter, breathing heavily and floating a coffee mug in the air with the power of its mind.

Ok, I found this kitty, today both Hissed at each other and at Me when I'd pick Him up, I took some pics, fed Him and He wanted to go outside, so I let Him go, I'd showed him the litterbox, but He didn't seem to know what it was for.

He's the one who came in yesterday and was very friendly with Me, but not with Grace and I don't think He liked being picked up. Grace is happy again, since She has the House and Me to Herself again, can't say I didn't try. :(

He sat like this only here, I'd say here 'boy', since He is a male cat and He'd come to Me. He wouldn't respond to anything else. :( Oh and He's slightly bigger and heavier than Grace.

As it turns out, He's a stray, He goes to several mobile homes for food, I don't know if He stays at any place in particular or if at all.

He's quite big and fairly heavy, yes He can jump, from the floor to the countertop is all I observed, but then there aren't too many fences here.

Oh and Grace was afraid of Him, that's mostly muscle under the fur.

It's a shame he is a stray. Thanks Vic.

Yeah, I know, it's too late to change Him I think. Everytime I picked up either cat, I'd get hissed and snarled at, so since He wanted out, I opened the door, He was at least friendly when I didn't pick Him up, once He was gone Grace stopped hissing and went back to normal. He is a pretty cat though. You're welcome Lynn.

Oh and I think He and other cats here keep the mice away from the park, so He has a job to do, He's part of our mouse defense line I assume.

And from the 'weird kitty news' department.................

British postal workers temporarily refuse to hand over Advent calendar addressed to cat.
Published December 09, 2015FoxNews.com

A British woman said a mail delivery company temporarily refused to let her pick up an Advent calendar addressed to her cat in a Facebook post that has gone viral.

Brittany Maher-Kirk, of northern London, said the calendar was sent by her mother and addressed to her adopted cat, Ted. But when Maher-Kirk missed the delivery, she said the Royal Mail post office wouldn’t give the calendar to her unless she showed an ID for the cat to pick it up on its behalf.

“I've got to ring up the Post Office Head Office and explain that my mother has sent the cat an advent calendar, addressed to the cat, and he can't pop in to pick it up himself or lend me his ID to do it for him...” the Facebook post read.

Maher-Kirk told the BBC that amused postal workers eventually handed over the calendar.

She said Ted is happy and "makes weird chirping, meowing noises" when its windows are opened.

Meowchuckle.....LOL.

Ft. Worth officers rescue kitten stuck in car
Officer Simmons, Officer Pittman and Officer Galvan were called to a McDonald’s at Jacksboro Highway and Ephriham Avenue.

The car’s owner and some employees had tried unsuccessfully to get the kitten out.

Officer Pittman and Officer Galvan worked lift the car using a jack. Officer Simmons took off his gear, crawled underneath the car and managed to retrieve the kitten safely.

I wish, the 'new' cat liked the chow, but didn't like being cooped up with another cat and I got snarled at, He wanted out, so I let Him out, Grace was happy to see Him go too. He's all muscle, and I'm told He's not afraid of any dog here, other cats will run, He will stand His ground and He has a nick to one ear too.

If he doesn't want to stay in, it may not be a good idea to let him in at all. Put food out for him if you want, but that's all.

I don't consider Homeless a stray anymore. He spends between 6 and 12hrs in our home. He chooses not to use a litter box, but let's us know, when he want's out.
It has taken 10 month, but hissy fits have become a rarity.

I think the majority of us who have or had one or more felines would know this by now...

Why Cats Knock Stuff Over (and How to Prevent It)

Cats love to knock stuff over or push things off tables, and that leads to a lot of broken items. Are they mean-spirited animals that hate your stuff? Here’s the truth, and how you can help prevent it.

Dr. Katherine Houpt, Cornell University emeritus professor of veterinary behavior, suggests that cats knock things over for three main reasons: they’re hungry, they want attention, or they’re practicing hunting. Basically, they’re just being themselves. This reasoning also explains why it seems your kitty only wants to knock things over at night when you’re asleep. You can’t give them attention or feed them if you forgot, and night time is when hunting instincts can kick in. If you want to stop it, Houpt recommends you start by keeping them off your counters, either with double-sided tape or some other means, so they can’t knock things over to begin with. It might also help if they have a toy (like a fishing pole style toy) that lets them indulge in their “paw batting” behavior without breaking stuff. You can learn more about the science behind your cat’s seemingly rude behavior at this link: Why Your Cat Likes to Knock Things Over (According to Science).

As the insane owner of 22 cats, I have to wonder why I didn't get here sooner.

What may we discuss here?
