The biggest stench emanating from Europe has finally reached the US... All countries affiliated to FIFA are culpable in all this. All have known about this corruption and none have done anything to stop it. The whole FIFA shebang wants disbanding as it is too corrupt to have any credence or semblance of respectability left in it. O dear... Russia has a different approch:) The costs for the World Cup in Russia in 2018 elapses. The planned budget of close to 11 billion Euros danger of bursting. The reason is that the import of building materials have become more expensive due to a decline in value of the Russian ruble. Under a new bill now entrepreneurs are given the opportunity to hire Russian prisoners in their factories, reports AP. The prisoners will work on production of building materials for the construction of stadiums and infrastructure projects. Fédération Internationale de Football Association, FIFA, is an International Federation so I wonder what EU has to do with it. EU deals with mostly trade affairs and free movement of Labour force. The former UEFA chairman Lennart Johansson has his opinion clear about the upcoming World Championships in Russia and Qatar. - World Cup 2018 should go in England, and then a free ticket for the World Cup in 2022, says Johansson, 85, told Aftonbladet. This dirt has been known about for a very long time. Curious how it hit the fans two days before a vote was due to be considered by the FIFA congress on banning a certain nation from future events.
