My Esteemed Colleagues,

I can confirm that Master William has been safely put on the train home from Paddington Station, together with his portmanteau. It's always a pleasure to host the young lad, and contribute to his continuing education. I expect that he will return in the summer sometime, Muriel always likes playing with my Willy in the sunshine.

Miss Julie, may I thank you most sincerely for your kind regards to myself and my Nephew, that was indeed very thoughtful of you, and much appreciated.

Sadly I have to report that no word from Mrs Miggins has been received to date, so I do hope that she is well and in fine fettle. The last time that she left her warm bloomers on the counter, she became all of a flutter for a couple of days. My composure was also sorely tested in addition I can tell you, and I had to avert my young nephews eyes.

I have just heard tell that Muriel has suffered a most unpleasant disturbance to her equilibrium.
Some ill-bread loaf decided he had better kneed of her dough than she, and attempted to amend this, in his sight, malalignment of the possession of property. It is said that as Murial is a Lady of some considerable fortitude she was able to disavow him of the error of his path. Unfortunately the processes of disavowing said loaf resulted in not inconsiderable damage to her favourite rolling pin. Said rolling pin has been rendered into a configuration resembling a cross between a rather battered limb from a tree and a banana, and far to soft and floppy to perform its usual roll in satisfying her needs and desires for a good smooth pastry in the morning. As for the ill-formed loaf, it is said once he has recovered from his injuries he will be spending a not inconsiderable time in custardy.
As for Muriel, she will be irreconcilable until such time as she can find a suitable true, firm and smooth member to satisfy her pastries in the mornings.
