It's been snowing 65km/40miles south of here this afternoon and the wind has kept the temp at -4C/25F all day.

Rum'n'coke now I think.

Cheers.

Great Temp for snow Wiggo, it can stack up fast. 25-28 perfect.

As far as the rum and coke? drink at home. :))
I'm over nighting at my GF house working on her computer but I'm about to give up for the night. The place is well stocked so I won't go hungry. :))

Plus garbage day tomorrow so I need to drag out everything.
Cheers everybody

Well I guess I'll watch the news for a bit, see where all the fires are today. The 4th we had a lot of them.

It's been rather dry here, too, nut no fires, thankfully. Grass isn't growing much, which is fine with me.

But pigs kick a snake butt.

I've never seen a pig and a snake fight.

A snake has no effect on a pig from what I have been told and another one is a ginnie hen also well. Farmers would keep them in the yard just for them.

Well, I can maybe understand the pig, but a guinea hen? That's funny.

Why? Are they aggressive?

They can be and you certainly wouldn't want a 6' buck bouncing around in there either.

Cheers.

No, but considering the amount of intoxicated people that hang out in the hotel bar and have a hard time walking through the lobby to the elevator, a kangaroo might make things interesting... ;~}

What sort of critters do you get?

Rabbits, foxes, deer, kangaroos, wallabies, snakes and possums mainly, though it's better to stay away from the snakes.

If I see a kangaroo tonight, I'll invite him in. :~)

Only do that if it's a small 1 Gordon. ;-)

Cheers.

I just let them alone, about the only thing I can't stand is pigs. They can do in a yard fast. we haven't seen any around here yet but the south sure has. But pigs kick a snake butt.

Hi everyone. What a tough day. I didnt have to run any machines, Just do a setup. Im an operator not a setup man. I rarely do a setup so IM rusty as hell. But I got her done. And have the massive headache to prove it.

I can imagine that was a headache. I've got my job so down pat, I'm on autopilot. No variance in the routine. Got it down to a science.

Im hoping that by doing more setups and getting better at them I can get a better pay raise next year. I went a full year after we moved to the new building with out doing one. Ive been doing a setup about once a week now for the last two weeks. we usally have big runs. My machines usally have a run of any where between 2,000 and 10,000 parts. The last few weeks its been 250. 400. 500. It takes longer to set a machine up then run the parts.
Edit-Im beat Im going to bed. Night all.

I did see my sister sent you a lot of rain the other day. :O

G'night James.

G'day James, well at least now you can sit back and have a good rest (maybe even fit in a beer or 2). ;-)

Cheers.

I bet that will help.

Back in a bit, refill at the store. :)
