I believe you only need a RAC of 2 to post, so Vic you've got a long way to go before you need to worry about crunching anything.

What is going on is the power regulators on the motherboard are dying and without them, this PC won't work.

If its operation is important to the normal conduct of your life, then I would suggest you keep it limping along as well as you can by cutting back or even completely stopping Boinc crunching. I'm sure you don't want to do that. I wouldn't either. But it may be necessary, at least temporarily. Once you get it fixed, you can go back to normal.

I cut back on the gpu from 2 wu's to 1 wu being crunched, still I'm a bit worried. Grace likes the heat output, as She lays on the tv table in front of the PC.

I just cut cpu work back to 1 instead of 2 wu's at a time being worked on.

I have a PC Problem that might get worse, My motherboard is not performing like it should, the fans are speeding up and slightly slowing down, I have a replacement motherboard an with a bracket from Corsair that I hope to buy on the 1st, so I might be able to reuse the Corsair H70 cpu cooler to cool a used i7 3820 cpu, It would be nice if anyone has this cpu being cooled by this cpu cooler to chime in, the motherboard is an EVGA X79 Classified that I bought used, it's an XL-ATX motherboard and so I need either an Azza 9000(B or W) or a Xigmatek Elysium case, the Xigmatek I could get, but not until August, the Azza 9000 is right now only available in White and supplies are dwindling to nothing. I do seem to have quite the dilemma and if My Asus P7P55D motherboard dies before I'm ready I will be off line and cut off for nearly 2 months and I don't know what to do as until August I'm at My limit. W = White; B = Black. Prices are with shipping to Me of course.
