Who believes this is true? As far as I know, the theory of evolution posits that the process generating change (random mutation) is purposeless, though does not extend this notion to "nature".

We have that proven all around us.

The mutations may well be random. The selection for survival of the most favoured or of the most fit is biased in a way that is very much not random...


And all that is very much against any idea of unchanging "design"...

Even religions evolve such that the most "persuasive" survive to this day...

Actually , That refers to SPECIFIC moderaor actions. Not speaking of being modded generally.
One can say I got modded in my last post. One cant say Mod X modded me beacuse he/ she hates me.

Our friend has posted, where he made accusations against those that oppose his views, and specifically mentioned me. Unfortunately for him, as usual, he didn't check the facts, and the Mods have therefore removed it.

I have had Jehovah Witnesses do that. I had a script that topped their script. With ID we don't even have to know a religious text as he is trying to say it is science.

Why should we have proof of this when the theory of evolution does not say that one species changes into another? Like Newton on gravity, the quote you have from Darwin is not completely accurate about evolution. According to the theory the development of multiple species from a common ancestor is a rather long (in human terms) process. Though there is evidence of it happening.
