The reason you need so many is because they are plug and feather. You have some interesting sidelines. |

The reason you need so many is because they are plug and feather. You have some interesting sidelines. Yes, we have a winner! That was a lot quicker than I expected. They are plug and feather tools used to split rocks or stone. You drill a line of holes then place the tools. The hammer along the line until the stone splits. ![]() My use was not really a sideline, but my first house was a Victorian with basalt foundation. I had to replace a few of the stones and could not find anyone who could duplicate them. So I made my own. PM Sent |

All of you are very good so I am going to throw out a hard one (I think). This is an improved version of a tool that the manufacturer would normally provide. Both do the same job but this one is much easer to use ![]() Have fun! |
