We Humans here outsmart our Granimals most days. I still love them all, evenso Tinker and Tessie give me grief regarding Homeless. Mark my words, I will prevail.
Tessie is now ok with Midnight (Mischif) and Cookie. Tessie is ok too, but she just can't admit it. Just jumps in the middle of the huddle, throws a hiss, then jumps on the counter for treat time.

Things have been getting better. No shoes have been found outside in two week and ditto for socks.

Once tax season is over, I will post pics.

Have a friend that does taxes and all about April 15th she was a basket case. you know the ones with long returns that show up on the 14th?
She has a dog that waits for hours for her to go home, well she has retired now after 45 years of it and her dog is still kicking at 15. Dog is mine if she passes on before dos. this is agreement when she got it.
Cheers everybody

Gypsy Rose guards food and treats heavily--and with good reason. Abby is a thief. Any chance she can get-she'll steal them.

I spoke to soon. When I got out of the shower this morning, my mouse was AWOL. I found the bits outside, but the battery is still missing.

@blurf, Midnight is still trainable, not sure about Abby.

I am going to get them some Birthday present and let them think they can steal them.

I know dogs and cats have fellings just like us but in some cases they smarter than us and other cases less. all mine I treated with respect over the years. I was more a dog owner than cats which was my choice.

When will animal lovers band together and ban the Grand National?

It is nothing less than an international scandal. I would burn down the Aintree stadiums given half a chance, and go to prison for it as well. As for the jockeys, every last one of them should be hung at dawn, they are nothing less than professional animal killers.

I saw this Chris from your link.
The most famous steeplechase in the world is the Grand National run annually at Aintree Racecourse, in Liverpool, since its inception in 1836 (the official race was held three years later), which in 2014 offered a prize fund of £1 million.

Isn't steeplechase a sort of training before going foxhunting in Britain?
I Think it's lot of hedges that the horse has to jump over when riding there.

Chris, I never understood, why foals and yes I consider a two year old horse a foal are allowed to race.

My Father used to take me to those things every Fathersday. I think I was 14 when I told him NO. I have to say the race track he took me to, didn't race anything under 4 yrs old. Never won a dime and I am not sure he did either, evenso, he specialiest(?) in horses.

Yes, I still love to watch Dressage or Jumping competions, but not racing.

Let them do it, like Michael's intro showed.

Look what they do with Grayhound dogs when they don't win anymore, a lot of them end up in some back field.

I had the pleasure to play with a Grayhound called Jenny in England many years ago.
The owner raised Grayhounds for racing and I Think they never abandoned their dogs.
My sister in law also have a Grayhound. She told that they like to run but you have to calm them down sometimes. Their legs can brake when they make a sudden turn.

I don't know much about them, I did know a few people that had one or two of them. It's my guess that a wolf hound and aa Grayhound are pretty much in the same boat, just built for speed and hyper.

Hm
To me a wolf hound is a "varg hynda" meaning a wolf bitch.
EVERY dogs ethnic background is a wolf:)

Well Midnight is a hyper dog and he knows how to egg on his sister Cookie.
Yes I know, I owe you pics and tax season is over soon.
They do much better, when I am home and they are allowed outside. Cookietaster doesn't like the barking, so shuts them in most of the time.
Hey, they are just saying hello to friends and being my doorbells.
Evenso, they are trouble, I don't regret giving them a forever home.

That's a great way to look at it Uli and I'm sure that's true, it's just like Dog, he goes to no end to say hello and wheres my dinner. LOL not really but he is glad to see me. Then where is my dinner. LOL and then after eating where is my treats with out fail. That dog goes through so much water a day it's not funny, the vet checked him out said he was just fine and in good health.

at 15 he is in better health than me, well he does eat better than me for the first thing.

I have noticed a lot more water intake here too.
Both got a clean bill of health from the Vet too.
