She slept like a rock last night. I opened her Xpen, pottied her and she voluntarily went right back into the Xpen. She's being VERY good.

Well it just keeps piling on.

When Suz got home, Abby had absolutely no interest in food. Didn't even stand next to her while she prepared the bowls (VERY unusual). Also wouldn't Suz touch her.

Emergency vet says she must've fallen and hurt her back. She's on pain meds and we have to keep her off the furniture (oh that's going to be fun!)

Knew a woman once that had them and I thought she was going to rip the bed apart with so much pain. That's why I said that.

Don't want to derail the thread but my wife had them-we know the pain all too well.

Results of Abby's tests came in....she has a Kidney Infection. She's now on 3 weeks of Clavamoxx. If it doesn't resolve, she'll be x-rsyed for a possible kidney stone

we think we have all the troubles, its never ending. Kidney stones thats got to hurt.

Kidney stones aren't verified. She is in no visible pain.

Hope the meds do the trick.

Well Grace got Me in the arm today, I've got 3 punctures in My left bicep, I washed the arm off in the area that was effected afterwards, it did draw a little blood, but really doesn't hurt. Thankfully She's an indoor cat.

He did it again, Dog heard the fireworks last night and I don't care how old he is he move like a young Pup. jummped on my GF frame and wouldn't move until it was over. :)) His been like that since he was 8 weeks old.

Awwww... reminds me of our lovely rescue dog - he was petrified of fire works :( I think he was always grateful that I never needed him to be brave during them... or parties where there were balloons :) Our other dog on the hand was so hairy that all his senses (including his brain) operated mainly through his nose. Think that was why he was never bothered by anything that went bang, unless he couldn't reach it afterwards with his tongue...

Most animals don't like high pitched noises, I've owned a few cats and none liked fireworks that were noisy, some people wonder why their dog and/or cat ran away, thats why...

Well the fireworks were only 2 blocks away and very load, but one year he shook for 2 days. ( really brave uh?)

Oh dear, I surely have no answers to that one. One would think after they were clear it would go away.

Abby's catheter procedure went extremely well. They're sending the sample out for more extensive testing. Probably won't hear until Tuesday

Gypsy: One anal gland is back to normal. Other is still really thick but not as bad as last time. Next week they're going to infuse medication into both glands.

Abby: Infection has not gone away. Tomorrow they're going to give her a catheter for a direct bladder sample to see if the bladder is infected or the urethra.

That's great, I like cats, much 'lower maintainance' than dogs.
Ours are out mole hunting at present (really, we have moles, they try and dig them up)
Pauli (polydactyl)is so cute with her 'arm' buried up to the shoulder
Pauli and Ket-Kat, Pauli is the part Siamese

Even though she's quite small she doesn't have the slightest problem pushing him out the way then going back to her food

Good to hear there's been some progress Blurf. :) Does she have to wear one of those big collar things?

You know... if she has an unusually long tongue...

You should have had 2 dogs sit & stay, now that would have worked out.
