I'm trying to install boinc-client on ubuntu server 12.10. This is a clean installation!

It works just fine on 12.04, but when trying the same thing on 12.10 I get an error.

This is what I'm trying to do:

# apt-get install python-software-properties
# add-apt-repository ppa:costamagnagianfranco/boinc
# apt-get update
# apt-get install boinc-client

I only reach the "add-apt..." command. After this I get this:

# add-apt-repository ppa:costamagnagianfranco/boinc
The program 'add-apt-repository' can be found in the following packages:
* python-software-properties
* software-properties-common
Try: apt-get install <selected package>

Anybody who have a suggestion?? Python software has JUST been installed, I did it twice and checked it twice ;)

On Ubuntu Server 12.04, where this workes just fine from a clean installation - I'm having problems getting the PPA to work when installing it with an existing version of boinc running. I follow my ToDo as it is below, and the installation runs just perfectly. But, when updating the system, the boinc version does not get updated! How can this be??

BOINC AUTO UPDATE/UPGRADE - PPA:
Command: # apt-get install python-software-properties
Command: # add-apt-repository ppa:costamagnagianfranco/boinc
Command: # apt-get update

If BOINC already installed:
Command: # apt-get upgrade

If BOINC not installed:
Command: # apt-get install boinc-client
