setback in search for MH370. Missing MH370: 'Debris' Found on Kangaroo Island Is Not From Jet Debris found on Australia's Kangaroo Island is not from a Boeing plane, investigators searching for the wreckage of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 said Wednesday. The piece bears the words "NO STEP" but Boeing advised experts it was not consistent with one of its planes. "As such, the [Australia Transport Safety Bureau] has assessed that the item is not related to … the search for MH370," the agency said in a routine update. http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/missing-jet/missing-mh370-debris-found-kangaroo-island-not-jet-n596751 |

Personally I'm surprised they are still searching. It's been way too long. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

UK firm key to tracking MH370 will fit 'cloud black box' on Airbus jets European plane maker Airbus is to install technology built by British firm Inmarsat that will render the black box virtually obsolete and could prevent air disasters. |

We've been looking in the wrong place, MH370 search team says Searchers at the Dutch company leading the underwater hunt for Malaysia Airlines jet MH370 say they believe the plane may have glided down rather than dived in the final moments, meaning they have been scouring the wrong patch of ocean for two years. |

UK firm key to tracking MH370 will fit 'cloud black box' on Airbus jets This device or one similar to it is already in use by many of the world's major airlines but unless it is made into international law some airlines will avoid it's expense. Now something new and troublesome emerges. The pilot simulated the fatal flight on his home computer. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Even though I will most likely never be a passenger on an over water flight again I think that if I did take a trip abroad it would be on a US carrier with no muslims in the crew. That pilot waited a very long time to make his mark in the terrorist world. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. Suicide by pilot? Malaysia confirms MH370 route was on pilot's simulator KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- Malaysia acknowledged for the first time that one of the pilots of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 had plotted a course on his home flight simulator to the southern Indian Ocean, where the missing jet is believed to have crashed. Australian officials overseeing the search for the plane last month said data recovered from Capt. Zaharie Ahmad Shah's simulator included a flight path to the southern Indian Ocean. Malaysian officials at the time refused to confirm the findings. http://www.ctvnews.ca/world/malaysia-confirms-mh370-route-was-on-pilot-s-simulator-1.3015992 |

More debris. Debris sparks MH370 plane crash theory TWISTED debris, possibly from doomed flight MH370, has been found off the coast of Mozambique. The sighting has sparked the theory the plane exploded before it crashed, reports The Sun. Previously it was assumed it had been under pilots control when it plunged into the sea. A South African tour operator claims to have found a large piece of the missing plane. Tour operator Jean Viljoen said he had given the piece of wreckage to local police who were investigating. http://www.news.com.au/travel/travel-updates/debris-sparks-mh370-plane-crash-theory/news-story/97c462ecdcdd6652cdacafaf269994ab |

Report. We will never know what happened. New MH370 report says plane crashed into ocean at high speed The Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 that disappeared nearly three years ago with 239 people on board crashed into the Indian Ocean at high speed rather than gliding down gently, an analysis of the debris found. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2016/11/02/missing-malaysia-370/93158372/ Video |

It's just another unlikely theory and unfortunately we will probably never know all the facts of this disappearance. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

A pop-up video in link, says the search will go past next month. MH370 search teams may be looking in wrong area The doomed Malaysian Airlines jet that disappeared over the Indian Ocean almost three years ago probably isn't anywhere in the vast area designated as the primary search zone, experts said Tuesday. And a new area where Flight 370 most likely crashed may never be searched. "We will be suspending the search unless credible evidence is available that identifies the specific location of the aircraft," said Darren Chester, Australia's Minister for Infrastructure and Transport. Australia took control of the search at the request of Malaysian officials. |

The search is still ongoing. MH370 Found? Searchers Race to New Site The Daily Beast has learned that in the final days of the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, the search vessel scouring the depths of the Indian Ocean has suddenly moved at high speed to a new location more than 200 miles north. The site is close to an area that experts have recently identified as far more likely to contain the remains of the Boeing 777. The Dutch-owned vessel Equator is using an autonomous underwater vehicle in a pattern of maneuvers near the seabed similar to that used on two previous occasions when significantly large objects were identified. Both of these turned out to be shipwrecks. |
