Only other thing that occurs to me would be if you had a limit set on max disk space (Tools > Computing preferences > Disk and memory usage) and are exceeding it. Or under the Projects tab have SETI set for no new work?

What other projects are running on that cruncher - the BOINC work cache is common to all projects on a given cruncher, so if one project has filled it with work then other projects won't be able to request any.

In the BOINC Manager Menu/Activity make sure Always is selected for everything. Also, make sure Resource Share is at least 100;

Rosetta and DistrRTgen. The latter is on GPU only, but when I ran it down to less than 1.5 hours of work(1 wu) SETI still would not need or want to send. Rosetta is all cpu work.

Disc use is "use at most 90%". And on requesting work.

Try removing the app_info.xml file from the project folder and then restart BOINC. If that doesn't work, make a Backup of the setiathome.berkeley.edu folder and then try Detaching/Reattaching the Project, Projects/Remove.

You also might try setting the Resources as mine, even Suspending the other Projects and then Restarting BOINC.

My MB Host isn't having any trouble. The Two AP Hosts have been dropping since Monday when they were both full. They both should be close to 200, the one is now at 107 and continues to drop with only an occasional download. Most of the time it simply says;

I believe the problem is associated with the bold text;
State: All (502) · In progress (107) · Validation pending (124) · Validation inconclusive (5) · Valid (265) · Invalid (0) · Error (1)
That number should be close to 100. I think you can blame that on "Workunits waiting for assimilation: 90,453"

Still No Change. Valid Count & Workunits waiting for assimilation Still Rising. Still No AP Downloads.
State: All (502) · In progress (102) · Validation pending (125) · Validation inconclusive (5) · Valid (269)

I found the problem! It's this piece of code:

if(Guy's RAC approaching 300,000)
    stop splitting APs
else
    keep splitting APs;

LOL - Guy - To enter on the exclusive 300K RAC club first you need to "paid a small fee" of 3 (1 for each 100K) six-pack of beer to each one of his members. :)

I am afraid that is a bit too technical for my meager knowledge of computers.
But thank you as well as all the others who cared to offer help.
Perhaps as all wu's in other projects run down to zero, BOINC will be kind enough to send me a few wu's.

I just restarted BOINC after suspending all except SETI. I got this message:
3/12/2014 6:52:59 PM | SETI@home | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
3/12/2014 6:52:59 PM | SETI@home | Not requesting tasks: don't need
3/12/2014 6:53:00 PM | SETI@home | Scheduler request completed
Very puzzling.

I guess I am in the penalty box for now. Happy with the load I am getting for the GTX 460, though. For the 580 I will wait a few days.

Thank you Guy.

Looking at this page; http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/host_app_versions.php?hostid=6653993, it appears you've never completed any Version 7 Tasks with that Computer? At this point, I'd say go with the Detach/Reattach. There's probably nothing in the Project folder worth saving anyway. If you Reattach without installing Lunatics you won't have to worry about any imposed limits on the previous Apps. If that doesn't work, then it must be your settings for the other Projects.

When was the last time you ran the Lunatics Installer? Are you sure you have a CUDA MB7 App Installed?

Miklos was the user who consulted me privately on What's the fastest GPU at the moment?. He was given clear advice by PM when early indications suggested that he might have been trying to use the old _enhanced installer rather than the _v7 compatible 0.41

My GTX 460 is doing them fine: SETI@home v7
Anonymous platform (NVIDIA GPU)
And I think I installed a newer version on the 580 also, since it is a newer computer. I think it used to run SETI cuda aps fine a few months back.

Has anyone noticed that there is a backlog of Astropulse work units waiting for assimilation, and that two of the four Astropulse assimilators are not running?

There isn't a 'SETI@home v7 (anonymous platform, NVIDIA GPU)' listing on your Host Details page. The numbers are sometimes confusing, however, there is usually at least a listing there as seen here, http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/host_app_versions.php?hostid=6797524.

You might try Removing the Old Project folder and Starting with a Fresh one (Projects/Remove), or run the New Lunatics Installer and make sure a CUDA MB7 App is Installed;
