With a little push of retry, I am getting some to upload. Same here. Kudos to BOINCTasks' "retry all". Server status page hasn't updated yet and Cricket doesn't show any traffic yet. Another Fred Support SETI@home when you search the Web with GoodSearch or shop online with GoodShop. ![]() |

Got all of mine pushed through, finally. SSP is still in stuck mode. Avians and Myrmicats, the Octospiders, and the Humans all living in one huge cylinder in space called RAMA. |

Validate servers are being a bit slow also because I and my wingmen have a bunch of units completed but still waiting to be validated. Avians and Myrmicats, the Octospiders, and the Humans all living in one huge cylinder in space called RAMA. |

Validate servers are being a bit slow also because I and my wingmen have a bunch of units completed but still waiting to be validated. That would to be assumed, given the backlog of work starting to flow back to the servers again. Pendings will also go up for a while, as rigs that are not being manually 'woken up' are probably still in deep Boinc backoff land and may not report things for awhile yet. The SSP has updated. Ready to send is up, at least for the moment. It'll probably take a deep dive as hosts pound it for new work (like mine just did, reporting 108 and only getting back 59). I see a bit of a minor "huh?" on the Cricket page. Average bits in (for the day): Cur: 375.36 Mbits/sec Avg: 259.49 Mbits/sec Max: 373.46 Mbits/sec How can Max be lower than Current? It's a bit of a paradox, like the meme currently going around Facebook showing a photo alleging to be of the world's first camera being set up and asking who took the picture of it. All uploaded, reported and I continue to wait for APs to be split. |

All rigs fully loaded here, now just to wait for the backup work to clear before chewing back into those MB's. Cheers. |

Hmmm... I was to busy at work to check if I has a bunch of pent up transfers, but all of my systems are clear on transfers and have their full set of tasks. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours ![]() |

Server Status page says we're out of work [as of 27 Mar 2014, 21:10:05 UTC]. Can't tell that by looking at Cricket. Another Fred Support SETI@home when you search the Web with GoodSearch or shop online with GoodShop. ![]() |

Looks like AP splitting might be starting up. |

Oh, let's hope the APs go elsewhere. My download is maxed out as I'm downloading my ESO copy, all 45+ GBs of it. Just survived a hiccup in the download. So please Seti, send the APs elsewhere. :) |

Looks like the new AP tasks are from some 2008 tapes. I wonder if these are tapes that had to much noise before, but now are able to be split with the work they did to the splitter code. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours ![]() |

would that explain why they seem to be taking longer than usualy to crunch? Or maybe it's just me...lol |

would that explain why they seem to be taking longer than usualy to crunch? Or maybe it's just me...lol If the amount of blanking is somewhat high on those tapes, then they will take longer than usual. Maybe we are re-visiting those tapes because we now have the ability to detect the radar-affected sections and handle them properly, whereas the first run-through, maybe there were a lot of false positives or a lot of discarded tasks due to high numbers of errors/early exits. Or... maybe something interesting was found in the database and we're going back over it again with better apps to try to verify the previous findings. :D *shrug* Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |

would that explain why they seem to be taking longer than usualy to crunch? Or maybe it's just me...lol Some are definitely taking longer and have a higher blanking percentage. Hey, if they crunch longer they should give more credit. |

Has anyone heard any word on what is causing these recurring upload server issues? Grant Darwin NT |
