Yes, if you want to submit the timings, you can get the builds from Jason's site though.

[joking] Oh noes... 1-2 weeks of no AP? What ever shall everyone do??? [/joking]

I've still got about 5 days left of my 10-day cache of them. Oh well. I'll run idle when I run out. I'm sure my CPU would like a break for a little while anyway.

And no.. I'm not doing a backup project.. and I'm not doing MB. Much like people choose this project over others because of what it does and so forth.. I like AP because of what it is searching for. I've been AP-only on my main cruncher since _v5 came out (and then we did a year or two of _v505, and now _v6).

Maybe it will give you some time to blow the dust bunnies out.

I wish you the best of luck with the 5th copy of this result. However if the server has crashed and won't be online for a couple of weeks what server was the results sent from?

Could. Definitely could. But I just did that back in October, so it shouldn't be bad at all.

I have a Thermaltake Armor case, so all of the bay covers are air filters. I pop them out about every 2 weeks and run hot water through them backwards and air dry for a few minutes and pop them back in. I don't end up with dust bunnies inside, just that very fine powdery dust after about 6 months.

That is the Science Database that has crashed, the Boinc Database is fine, the Boinc Database holds all the records of who has what Wu, and result, etc, the Science Database holds the results of what we're already crunched,
as all the interesting results after we're filtered out the chaff. (we sent results to it, not get results from it)

What can't be done is assimilate the AP results into the science database, and the scientists can't access the science database to view the results,
they could continue to split AP Wu's for a limited time I suppose, but that would mean there would be a large backlog to assimilate, and I'm sure there would be other overheads that would mean they wouldn't do it for long,

I understand your preference for AP's, and favor them also but in order to make AP's MB's must be crunched so I shall devote more resouces there until I can reload.

I wonder if the 1-2 weeks until a server swap out is
due to manpower/budget restraints?

Sounds more like 1-2 weeks for the hardware to arrive, and then get an OS installed, get everything configured, and then load the last back-up of the database. Everything after the hardware arrives and gets installed is a day or two. It's just the sitting around, twiddling of thumbs waiting for a box to arrive.

Well, there go the Uploads.
First the APs, then the Uploads.
Maybe I should just give it up for a while and play around with Linux on my Mac, I haven't done that in a while.

FYI, I sent E-Mail to David, Eric, Matt & Jeff.

Server status page frozen and upload of results not possible.

Maybe it could be fixed remotely before bedtime .. ;-)
