After not being able to run BOINC for about a year I am able to do so with my new system. My old e mail address no longer exists so I set up a new account, however when I try to transfer my old credits I get a message stating that my old account is still active and the credits can not be transferred. Is there a way around this? Thanks, Rich |

If your old account was a BOINC account, it cannot be merged with your new BOINC account. You can only merge one SETI Classic account with one BOINC-SETI account. The good news is that it doesn't matter if your old email exists or even works, as the SETI servers do not do email authentication. If you can remember the email address you used when you signed up before, and if you can remember the password you used, you can still log into that account and change the email to what you currently use (as long as you change this account to something else). |
