A known problem, albeit that all of the reports so far have been for Windows 7 and 8. The BOINC developers know it. No known cause of remedy as off yet, other than not use the screen saver until there's a fixed BOINC coming out, or to return back to 7.2.33

This is happening to me too. Even though I set "blank", "overview", and "switch" to 0, and screensaver to 5min., I get a repeating cycle of a few seconds of overview, with like 30 sec. of screensaver, back to overview, etc.
