My laptop has both an integrated Intel GPU and a PCI-attached Nvidia GTX 755m GPU. Is there a way to use both simultaneously? ID: 1477617 ·  |

Yes you can! ;) Take a look here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Client_configuration Look for the flag "use_all_gpus" and set it to "1". I've done the same on this Computer: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=7068094 If it is this computer http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=7212726 you are talking about, you'll have to use the intel GPU as primary device or it would not be recognized by BOINC. Take a look here: I thought that <use_all_gpus> was only needed when the user had different strengths of the same brand of GPU, e.g. different models of Nvidia, different models of AMD, but not when he had one Nvidia, one AMD. Or in this case, one Intel, one Nvidia. All it requires here is that the correct drivers are installed. ID: 1477654 · |
