Okay, as requested - a new thread with the same rules as before 1. The previous winner posts a picture of some sort of strange-looking tool. 2. Other people guess what it is. The poster tells them if they're right or wrong, with any other comments he/she sees fit. 3. After no new guesses have been made for a couple of days, the poster should provide a hint. 4. If there is still no correct answer given, the poster may declare the panel stumped, give the answer, and post another picture. 5. Whoever posts the correct answer is the winner and posts the next tool. Go back to 1. I'll start in a separate post. |

If I recall correctly, it is called a froe, and it is for striking wookdowking chisels and knives. BOINC WIKI |

OK a wooden mallet then. Yes, that one probably does exactly as you say, but the one I posted doesn't. It is not associated with the woodworking craft. |
