Case: Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl
PSU: Corsair RM650
MB: Asus A88X-PLUS
CPU: AMD A10-7850K
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Memory: Kingston HyperX FURY Black 8 GB
SSD: Kingston HyperX FURY 120 GB
HDD: Verbatim 2 TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB
Optical drive: Samsung SH-224DB 8X DVD+/-RW SATA
GPU: 3 * Asus GTX750TI-OC-2GD5 (two in PCI-E, one in PCI-E extension card), 1 * AMD Radeon R7 Spectre (integrated in CPU)

As You can see, it draws about 230-240W (230V) when running 4 AP GPU units and two MB CPU units.

Curren RAC is not what it should be, 24h off-line last weekend when I was away, and 3rd 750Ti just installed. Could be around 40K, wait and see.

(and Yes, there is dust inside case, cleaned it after photo :)

I could've gone for a Skylake build, but have stuck to the promise I made to myself, nearly 20 years ago, to never be at the 'bleeding edge' again. The money saved, meant I could buy better quality/better performing components.

I long ago ran out of money to be bleeding edge. Did it for a long time, and waiting a while gets you all the same bits for a ton less cash.

Well, It didn't go as plan did.

Several mysterious freezes.
Not available to solve it (I'm in love :)

Back to home, UPS complaining, turn of UPS, switch to main current. Fuse goes bang. New Fuse, again bang.

Corsair RM650 is gone. Three fuses goes off before I realize it.

Was three 750Ti's too much for RM650?

Wait and see, CX750M is now running.

Yep, I know that calculator, and I did use it before installing third Ti. And it always calculated under 500W PSU.

My 980's are using 147W max according to nvidia-smi. The 780's do not show their wattage.

Tazzduke - nVIDIA N680i with QUAD 6600 1 X HD 7850 & 1 X GTX 660ti

All three machines have just been relocated into newer boxes, so they are a lot more tidier than they were in there old boxes.
Weather is way to warm here in OZ (West OZ) at the moment, so all are on holiday till the weather improves and they only GPU crunch on SETI anyways.

I want to share some pictures with you: I built a "Smartphone-Crunching-Box".
Every old Smartphone will be placed in it. At the moment a Galaxy S4 and a Xperia Z3 are crunching.

Guess it could be called a computer.

But if for some reason a box has no room for four such cards, perhaps another solution where a dedicated box having room for only these cards with a high speed cable going to the main box itself could be an option.

Makes it two boxes, but perhaps one possible solution perhaps, if you look at it that way.

Edit: Looking a little further down, the computer belonging to tazzduke also is looking very nice inside that box.

But if you compare with my own motherboard, there is a blue flat unit located there which is not being used.

Is that perhaps a SSD? If so, how may I be able to access or use that unit or module?
