Well, since I posted here some time ago. I've gone and modified my original machine and replaced the 4 GTX 980 SC ACX with 4 GTX 980ti Hybrids.

That meant moving alot of fans around. So here is the final product

Same case Corsair Air 540, lying on it's side.

Removing the filer lets you look down into the case

The front 2-140 intake fans were removed and the 3 120 radiators and fans for GPUs 4,3,2 placed on the front panel in their place. Fans for 4, 3 are in push out configuration. Fan on radiator #2 was moved to a pull config due to limited space.

The CPU's 280 radiator and 2 -140 mm Fans (also in pull config) is located on the top of the case

The 120 mm radiator and fan for GPU 1 is located on the back of the case also pushing the air out of the case.

The case is laid on it's side so that now the left side is top and the right side is bottom.

I've removed the clear plastic panel with the 200mm Fan and replaced it with a custom filter that covers the entire opening to keep dust out.

I found the fan wasn't removing enough heat and that allowing passive radiation of the heat worked better.

GPUs temps stay 44C across all 4 GPUs. (Much lower than when the fan and clear plastic was in place)

Bonus Pic.. Since I modified 1 computer, I thought why not 2?

I converted the Titan Xs to hybrids as well. Same changes for fans and radiators. Don't pay attention to the name on the shrouds on the cards.

I used the 980Ti conversion kits as I couldn't find any Titan X conversion kits (they are the same, only the shroud is different) You can see it's different MotherBoard and different Ram and connectors are different colors as well (just in case someone think's it's the same pic)

Well... Really nice rigs, I might like them.

But they are not running Seti@Home with full power what they have.

That's why I don't like them.

Very nice rigs Zalster, MSI And Corsair Launch GTX980Ti SEA HAWK Graphics Card. What am I up to? Nothing, I'm busy with the heater and property taxes until January 1st. Though I will have at least 1 more post in My thread before Jan 1st.

Yup, they feel like a little heaters, lol. But they work great. And the decrease in NOISE!!! I wish they had come out with these a long time ago.

I think your rigs are safe for a while. Busy taking down the top rigs at Einstein, all have fallen except for 1, and he's clearly in my sights, lol...

4 980Ti's and water cooling equipment, maybe eventually, for Me that would be near $2,956.00.

Just got a new gpu to add to the collection. The card will be replacing a 980, and will get a hybrid kit like Zalster's in the future.

Today was a fun day of moving graphics cards from machine to machine. The machine below is Sanford. I put the Titan X in there along with a 980, and a 960 shorty. The case is an Enthoo Pro Metallic Green.

Seti Jr. gets an upgrade. It received a 970 from Punisher to go along with a Titan Black...far cry from the two 750Tis.

133.3 12v rail....sweetness. Your MB looks dink in that big ol' cube case. I could see Zalster's rigs with the multiple rads fitting more comfortably in one. Looking good, really good.

-Edit, Holy crap -- just noticed those kick ass case fans. Are those AC powered Deltas?

Thnx spend all day putting it together sadly my x99 classified and intel 6960x did not come yet so i had to put my x79 in it for now

The 2 gtx 980's will be replaced by 4 980 TI's when they show up and teh new mainboard is gonna get 64 or 128 gigs of ram ...dunno yet if i should drop 1500$ on ram if i can get a titan z for it

The current mainboard has 64 gigs on it as well

The first 1600 t2 PSU that i got on sunday blew up in my face as soon as i plugged it in so i ordered another one which came today

gotta send the old one back to evga .

They where absolutely cool about it and gave me a free advanced rma with return shipping label so as soon as the new one shows i send the old one back

I love EVGA customer service they never let me down ...I called em once at 3am with a 580 that cought fire

Actually they are Sanyo Denki double ball bearing 320CFM 12V fans

12V 3A 320cfm 7000rpm max but they can go from 80rpm to 7k which is quiet nice
