The temp here is 65F/18C, not quite splitting the difference, but then 84F/29C is the predicted high for today, 71F/22C for Sunday, but when it's warm enough I'll just turn the cooler on for a bit.

This area got rain last night, it was only a 20% chance too, this morning I saw damp concrete and puddles.

Rain currently in Missouri gets here by evening and continues through mid-Friday. It may or may not clear out in time for the Cubs home opener.

Well, right now we are under a winter storm watch, suppose to get 6 to 10 inches (15 to 30 cm) of snow starting tomorrow after noon till Friday evening.

Now they have changed the watch to a winter storm warning with 8 to 14 inches (about 20 to 35 cm). What a bummer :( It's suppose to turning to spring by now :(

We've been having some nice days here just lately in the low to mid 20C's (high 60's to mid 70'c in F) though it seems that our usual wet season was late this year as we've been afternoon showers and storms each day.

Cheers.

My car had been sprinkled on when I went out, but the main storm has stayed south so far. Tracking across from St. Louis to Indianapolis and farther east.

A lot of rain this morning and a huge clap of thunder that kept the windows rattling for about 5 seconds. Seems to have stopped for now, but supposed to get the next wave tonight.

Eyes feel as if they are full of grit, earlier today the air had a metallic taste, one of my colleagues described it as "like his mouth after a day's hard welding" - he should know he spends his spare time rebuilding old cars...
