only had a little bit of snow left on the roof yesterday Yeah, I do tend to keep my snow longer than a lot of the neighbors. I feel fairly good about that. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

More infuriating light drizzle here again today so I'm sure the the weather is conspiring to stop me working outside. :-( Cheers. |

The 1st morning in 8 days without drizzle so I got the washing done and hung out. Now I'm just having a break before attacking another house stump. Cheers. |

The air temp in the house was 70F at 7am, outside the temp was 42F and the only heat that was on was the PC, the central gas heater is still not reliable, since the blower and heater won't respond to the thermostat... The heat wave goes on.... I will be able to get some of the ice up off my walkways. With all the heat the ice is only a foot a half thick....... |

Another rotten day of snow. The drive into work was terrible. The normal 25 minute drive took 40 minutes. The roads hadnt been polwed in hours. And the slush was starting to freeze. I lost count of the cars that were in the ditch. The ride home wasnt bad at all. The snow had almost stopped by then. But the wind is starting to really get bad and the temps are plummenting. I am so sick of winter. [/quote] Old James |

Well hopefully the snow will melt slowly and not stick around to start a new ice age. CA HSR built a foundation, is laying Track! PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550 Loco, US's 1st HST |

Supposed to be beautiful and around 50 today, when I have to work. Tomorrow, when I'll probably feel like sleeping all day because I was out late last night and will be again tonight, it will be about 40. Sunday, when I'll feel like doing something, we'll be lucky to hit 30. Bah. Spring is a lie. The temp here is predicted to be 80F(27C) today and up to 84F(29C) by Monday, Tuesday is predicted to be 74F(23C), with mid to low 70F's(20C's) up to Friday. The coolers here are scheduled to be worked on sometime in April, I think. CA HSR built a foundation, is laying Track! PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550 Loco, US's 1st HST |
