You should have made that post after he resigned or was forced to resign. Has he resigned?

No one can force an MEP to resign. Like in a lot of parliamentary systems.

Also, if you want to accuse the EU of harboring racists, there is this.

Again your attacks against the EU make no sense.

Well the Spanish don't hate the EU, they just want it to do things differently like focusing more on growth rather than austerity. And non of those countries dislike the EU because some MEP's are racists. Thats not the fault of the EU.

Really? Most in those countries have woken up to the fact that the EU powerbrokers are set on feudalism & we all know where that led Europe!

What?! Feudalism? Do you even know what Feudalism is? And do tell, what did Feudalism lead to?

In modern terms...

The 1%'ers, Intellectuals & the "great unwashed" is no different from Lords Vassals & fiefs.

Ehm, that has absolutely nothing to do with Feudalism.

Unless those 1%ers and intellectuals own a piece of land about the size of a one days march in every direction and have the people that live on that land work for him in return for protection from bandits and crime. And if those 1%er and intellectuals each have sworn fealty to another lord who technically owns more land but can't administer it because its to big and who in returns own fealty to a lord with even more land or a king.

Somehow I don't think thats what the EU is going for.

EU Parliament/Commission(Lords),National Governments(Vassals)EU Citizens(fiefs)

A fourth level of government is not needed! The EU commission itself has stated that it is too top-heavy, yet here you are disagreeing with them?

It's okay for politicians to attack each other, but an EU citizen do it?

Shades of "little Schicklgruber".

Yep I think we need more EU not less. The Commission says those things because its politically advantageous to say.

And its fine to attack the EU, but do so with constructive, rational arguments supporter by evidence. Saying that the EU is a complete failure because on MEP is a racist idiot is not a rational argument. Saying that the EU wants to return to a Feudalist state is not a rational argument.

And your comparison is still idiotic.

Why is it idiotic? You state you want more EU not less.

Just where are the funds going to come from? Europe still has a fiscal crisis on it's hands with austerity.

You can find jobs for more EU but not for the 26,000,000 standing idle?

Its idiotic because a Feudal system is by definition regionalistic, with a complete diffusion of power and a complete lack of centralized power. Its literally a patchworks of tiny mini states about the size of a one days walk in each direction of the lords home and any semblance of a central authority figure only has that power on the promise of his dukes and knights to come help him when he needs their help.

The way the funds work is that once a policy area becomes an exclusive competence of the EU, basically the national budgets that would normally be reserved for the national governments to go to that policy area now go to the EU. So basically more EU means that member states shift their budget around a bit.

And yes, the slow recovery of the EU economy is something to worry about. But less EU is definitely not going to solve that.

France, Greece, Spain & UK know that & they want their power back.
