Good morning everyone. :-)

Due to money issues, I don't go to plays, or operas; however, as a college student, I did take Stagecraft as an elective. I got to work on a play as a stagehand moving sets and props around between scenes. It was a fun class, I enjoyed learning how to put on a successful play. The play I worked on was Brecht on Brecht.

Now, I think I'll have my usual, please. :-)

What is it about American musicals??? Just had to sit through Oklahoma. No story, crap sets, just an excuse to have a song and a dance and to highlight fading actors. Bah humbug ;-)))

I never liked that one either. I don't like many of them.

I think South Pacific has lasted the test of time, But don't talk to me about the Sound of Music, I can get quite suicidal just thinking about it ....... Why do they ruin a good play by bunging a song & dance into it? Pygmalion was far better than My fair lady, and I've seen both!

Isn`t that rather a matter of taste ?

Well i'm back, having survived ten days in Egypt followed by a family Christmas.
And of the two the later was the one to be afraid of.

Good to see you back Simonator:)
