Pretty sure the US troop death count was over 3000 by the end of the Bush presidency.

Congratulations, instead of revealing a media bias in favor of Obama, you have revealed your own bias against Obama. Also, casualties.org is not an existing website. All I get is an offer to purchase the domain name.

Back when Bush was President it was reported daily in the news how many American combat troops had been killed and wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan and how we should not be there. According to statistics easily accessed online at casualties.org the USA lost 630 soldiers in the middle east during the eight years of Bush's presidency. According to the same database there have been 1662 fatalities in the same region during Obama's six years in office. That has been almost three times as many as were lost during Bush's eight years. Yet there is no daily body count in the news reports nor is there a concerted effort by the press to sway the opinions of the American public. So it seems to me the press has an obvious political bias.

My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events.
