Hi Seti It would be great to hear what is actually going on - at the moment we seem to be processing data from 2008 ? The website itself is very out of date and not clear what is going on with the data analysis what the plans are or anything else. I'm excited to hear from the drive message that you plan to look at some of the Keppler planets but would like to hear more especially if you could listen on more likely transmission frequencies i.e. one we use for TV and radio etc rather than just around 1.4Ghz. Thank you. |

Your lack of attentiveness to the web pages makes me a reluctant person to contribute when I see little information as to what is going on and updates... Stark comparison to other projects where the people involved write regularly and give updates ... Sorry but until you start telling us what is going on and post on a regular basis it appears to me as if I am asked to support people who havn't the time to let the people processing their data what is going on... Volunteers or not, underpaid, etc, academics and researchers who cannot keep people informed and involved aren't going to get much support... All you others who use these pages for attacks on people who state the truth... Well... May 2010 Aug 2013 It is December 2013 Some recent information??? Never engage stupid people at their level, they then have the home court advantage..... |

Thomas, are you agreeing or disagreeing with edjcox? The last new entry in Technical News is from August 13. Kind of makes his point. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Thomas, are you agreeing or disagreeing with edjcox? Disagreeing for sure David ! This is why I posted all the latest news. I wanted him to understand that we are regularly informed and he thought the staff SETI@home a little too fast. I'm not at all agree with him. How could you believe for one second that I agreed with him ? And the month of august 2013 is not that old. |

And the month of august 2013 is not that old. But I think it's old enough, even too old. |

And the month of august 2013 is not that old. It's a third of a year. That's more than old enough. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Perhaps bi-monthly? A lot of news letters are bi-monthly. |

Well, it will be good to have simple donation flow. There is no way for me to enter all required fields in donation forms anyway. I'm too lazy. Why you just not link my seti account with my CC or paypal info...? See how simple is that for example https://donate.wikimedia.org |

You would still need to fill out the form for credit card information, including billing address, etc. even if SETI used a Wikipedia format for donations. Unless you're actually suggesting that there's a direct link with your SETI account and your bank account. If so, then I'm not sure SETI wants that kind of responsibility were it to come to hacked accounts and stolen money. |

CC info? yes. But not all my family history |

I don't believe SETI is asking for your family history. So... I'm not sure I understand your comment. |

I mean that if I want to donate it will be easy to me just to fill 3-4 fields - amount, recurring, in case of CC - CC number date and secure code, in case of paypal - nothing. Click and go. Well I'm web-developer, did this many times before. Whatever... |
