One TITAN is good. Two is better, ...

On top hosts list there are machines with 2 or more GTX780's in the first two pages (some list TITAN, but have other GPUS as well in the confguration).

The TITANs should do a little better than 780's when using optimized applications and doing the right things (free CPU core(s), run multiple GPU apps at a time.) Instructions are floating all over this site.

Replacing the PSU did the trick. My machine is alive again.

Now I have to RMA the AX1200 and since I bought a brand new Asus P9X79-e-WS I'll start filling it with GPU's when the AX1200 returns...

I'll try clearing the CMOS. I have a spare AX650 PSU that I know is OK and can serve the two GX780's. The AX1200 I have in the computer just now is a couple of months old and has 7 years warranty. The Mobo has 3 years warranty and is currently 1y 10m old.


EDIT: Clearing CMOS did not help.

Asus P79WS (tried with another i7-3930K) shows no signs of life. The fans nudge once when the system is powered on. The diagnostic led shows nothing i.e. is black. The power and reset buttons on the motherboard have lights on. Both graphic cards light up two green LEDs near power connectors.

Did you try to clear CMOS manually, with the onboard switch/jumper and restart ?
Is the PSU ok ?
