No, but a snow refill would be nice.

Love some, but this big fat HIGH pressure system sitting off the coast between San Fran and La-La Land is keeping us warm and dry. Wish it would go away for awhile and let the rains come in - we need it more than the MidWest & East Cost do.

2-4" of snow by tomorrow afternoon, then 33F on Sunday followed by a crash. Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will be 10, with lows below 0. I got my gas bill the other day. $108, not too bad considering, but last summer it was around $18.

A nice and sunny morning but clouded with quite a strong wind in the afternoon @ 9°C.. Hope it doesn't start raining soon as I finally went to the car wash today...

update.

Gov. Jerry Brown's declaration of a drought emergency in California received widespread praise from state lawmakers, although some criticized the governor for not taking action sooner.

Lawmakers, farmers and activists for weeks have been urging Brown to take action as California suffers through one of its driest years on record. State reservoirs are critically low, and cities across the state have already begun water-rationing measures.

It's crazy isn't it. You have drought, while the UK is being flooded in many areas. We've had more than our average January rainfall already this month, with another deluge on the way tomorrow.

This is how people get in and out of some of the local villages here now:

It's been this bad for them for over 2 weeks now!
