We are in for a very sunny warm week, with just 'smitty'
of snow on Monday, then as high as +10C....

In my part of the country, Monday (today) 25C, Tuesday 26C, Wednesday 27C, Thursday 28C, Friday 29C and the weekend 30C then dropping back down again.

Just stay cool buddy. A nice air conditioned pub or club to spend time at will help you (and if it has a few nice ladies there it'll be a bonus). ;-)

Cheers.

The rain is on the way to you Julie. It was cooler here this morning with bright Sun, then milder with more rain this afternoon.

Many rivers still full to bursting and flooding towns in this area.

Last Friday, the most (by far) rain fell on Downer's Grove and Westmont, about 1.25". Guess where I was that evening...

It did pretty well clean up the remaining snow on the streets, though. And washed a lot of salt off the car.

This week is starting off nice, about 41F today. It will end on a roller coaster, varying 10F up and down day to day. Perhaps a bit of snow tonight/tomorrow.

I can't understand it, it is melting out there, and
the sky has this blue stuff in it.....

Same here. Mostly all of the snow in the neighborhood is either gone, or solid ice.

We're going to need more snow here if we want to avoid drought in the summer (Utah is a desert after all). However, the forecast for this week reports blue skies all the way to MLK Day, with highs in the upper 30's.

Wow!
+11, winds = 75mph, where is all the snow going?
Had a power outage over night, plus the funny blue
colour is all over the sky again, and the sun will
be up soon. I heard about that sun thing on the TV
news show this morning.

Last I looked, it was sunny but cold. We're supposed to get an Alberta Clipper or Saskatchewan Screamer about every other day for at least the next week, so our temperatures will be bouncing like Flubber. 20, 30, 19, 23, 32, 23... With appropriate lows in between, of course.

It's no wonder that the flu has hit hard
up here, the climate is all messed up
now. LSM and I always get the flu shot
every year early, but many don't and that
means with a little weather upset the sickness
literally rips through the population. We even
had a case of H5N1 bird flu here. (The lady died.)

My neighbors roof had way more snow on it than
mine did, now it looks like I wasted my time
taking all that stuff off, it is almost down
to the tiles now.....
