Cloudy with rain threatened. Put me off going shopping up to Oxford Street
so instead I went groceries shopping at the supermarket.

In East part of Canada, it is cold (-16C) and humid. . Something like a snowstorm is coming for the weekend. Something big...

Will see!

You keep safe :-)

Thnx Lynn.....
God has decided to trade cold
for snow to-day but it's ok,
tomorrow it will all be put
back to last week's chilly
conditions, but wait it is
going to go back and forth
for the next week or so until
the normal all out bitterly
cold weather will win out over
the rest of the Christmas season.

Ice crystals in the air you breath?

Oh yes! The ice crystals are very small and can
be seen in sunlight, or at night in the beams of
headlights, flashlights, or in light cast by other
kinds of out door lights. This is the visual
evidence of sublimation.
The higher the relative humidity the thicker the
ice crystals seem to appear.

Just turned on the tube. Not much snow

In the old days there was a lot of snow on the tube,
what with rabbit ear antenna and all. One night during
a solar maximum we got a television station from Georgia
on our TV set in the Annapolis Valley in my home province
of Nova Scotia.

I think I got confused somewhere last night. The <0 prediction was always for tonight.

The snow hasn't amounted to quite as much as they expected, but it's enough to be a problem driving. I love my 4WD.

So much for the <0 tonight. It's 15F now.

Just turned on the tube. Not much snow yet. They say the temp will still fall later.

But it's a dry cold!

I wouldn't like to experience that cold, at those temps if you needed to pee you'd be in danger of a mid stream freeze.
