They come knowing that they most probably wont see the Queen, yet hang around the
Palace gates hoping that she may though appear. If we had no Royal family left
then no one would show any interest in the Royal palaces just on their own.
Time America gave up being a republic and got herself some Royals, they really are
good for business these days. Also Royals are real people unlike all these daft
American film stars acting like pre-madonnas. So having a few Royals around the
place in America would put these film stars in their places.

p.s. We may be able to export a couple of Royals over to you if your interested?

I never said Americans spoke proper english only that the english don't

Lets not forget that you have so many regional variants in the US that make it a wholey difficult thing for a New Englander to talk to a resident of West Texas. I had grown up in Southern Michigan which along with Northern Ohio have the least accented English. I moved to North Texas and had the misfortunte of meeting and speaking to a West Texas transplant as my first Texas Conversation. I felt like I was dropped in China. Didn't understand a word he said.
I can now translate for others when the need arises.

Now back to the topic of bashing the English. Talking aside. did anyone ever tell you the rest of the civilized world drives on the right side of the road.
