Ancient Roman pottery kitchen vessel?? You bet, it was called a 'mortarium' just about every kitchen in the roman empire had one of these to grind corn. (Oats, wheat and other grains.) It was also used to mix spices. Lynn you won the contest! take her away, PM on the way! |
