Nice one Canada. Going to make sure I'm there for the flights with my camcorder. To see two fly together will be fantastic...

For those interested in historic aircraft, some lovely photos...

A fitting tribute

...there's also a great 4min video.

Hey Canada, take good care of the Lady.

University of California Signs Major Solar Deal

The University of California announced yesterday that it will make the largest solar energy purchase by any U.S. higher education institution to fulfill 60% of the energy needs on five campuses and three medical centers. UC signed two Power Purchase Agreements with Frontier Renewables to secure the renewables energy for a 25 year period. The agreements will help the University meet its goal to make UC the first research university to achieve carbon neutrality by 2025 for all UC’s 10 campuses and five medical centers.

Excellent news.
It seems, despite the naysayers, the world will wean itself off fossil fuels; just going to take a while that's all.

Absolutely. A daughter to be proud of. Just goes to show that the young can still amaze people.

Well done her!

Although (unsurprising, this being the mail), i'm not impressed by the first comment shown.
lets hope this article encourages people to teach youngsters how to call emergency services and when,(in between the sex lessons of course)
So close, then blew it!

I'm finally healing up from my prostate surgery and things are getting back to normal. Also under the watchful eyes of a physical therapist I walked about ten feet on Tuesday for the first time in several years. I couldn't have gone much further but it was a start.
