I noted that the UK prime Minister and Chancellor, and other UK politicians are Members or get invited. If it was that secret what they get up to I wonder if the membership would be publicly known. Those who are there are probably amongst the most influential in the world, and in turn probably have the best advisors money can buy. If they see a trend developing it probably is doing so, and that knowledge could be useful in shaping foreign policy.

I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

It certainly seems to include all the worlds "movers and shakers" in it. I find it slightly comforting that they think Ed balls is worth inviting, that means they aren't worth taking too seriously. Nevertheless ......
