just installed 7.0.28 x64 with the .41 optimized apps selecting Cuda 5.0 during install. I'm using an nvidia 660ti and have the count set to .3 looking at the tasks in boinc manager, it's showing me "Local:setiathome_V7 7.00 (Cuda42)" Does this mean it is using the wrong cuda version? How can I change this if it is? |

The optimized apps installer creates sections for any work that may be on hand at the time of installation. You can look at your app_info.xml file in the project data directory to see. It will have sections for all the cuda versions, but will use the application version you selected at installation. Thus, mine shows the CUDA50 app as the "main program" for CUDA50, CUDA42, CUDA32 etc. And, as Arkayn said, you should see that app running in task manager. This is just transition. New work should be labeled CUDA50 by the server. Another Fred Support SETI@home when you search the Web with GoodSearch or shop online with GoodShop. |
