Milibrain medling again....
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-24786397
....out to buy votes at the tax payers expense just like they did the last time
they were in government. See, as soon as UK PLC gets a few bob in the bank the
Labour party wants to spend it all.

Well Chris, the best way for you to fight off the Labour lots is to pass them
off as the "Vivian Nicholson" Party.....spend-spend-spend, debt-debt-debt,
broke-broke-broke. It is said that the Labour Party possesses the best spin doctors,
time then that the other two parties acquired their own in this field.

Don't forget that spend-spend habit is inherent in Labour. They wrecked the UK economy way back in 1979 as well.

Conflict of interests

Half a million pound and to think the Tories could have employed two people for
that amount to run their spin, Sirius and me, providing the cash came tax free.

Naw, we gotta be fair to the country, a max of 10% for tax. I can happily live on £450,000

Ah? your forgetting, this has to be split 50/50. Yet the mistake the Tories are
making here is that they intend to employ a spin doctor to spin on the Tory
voters too. It will be a case of what spin can we apply that gives the appearance
that although we don't intend to do what we say, we just need to say it in a way
that gives the impression that we will do....and by the way Tories, I read your
still not too sure of how to deal with the UKIP issue....times running out boys.

I'm off, I'll be back tonight to haunt the rest of you. Damned timed deliveries, I hate them, think the EU is behind all that :(

Be nice to bump into del-boy and have my brakes fail :)

The UK Living Wage rate, which is not binding on employers, has been increased by 20p to £7.65 an hour. It is much higher than the legal UK minimum wage of £6.31 an hour.

Why isn't it binding? It should be!

Living Wage

I don't believe it should be binding, Germany gets by OK without a statutory
minimum wage. It's not for government to set minimum wages but for the jobs
market itself to do this on a supply and demand basis. People are quite happy
to go along with supply and demand where commodity pricing is concerned.
They accept paying more for a commodity when in short supply and very happy to
pay less when prices drop due to over-supply. Operating under a capitalist
system, as we do, you create an imbalance in commerce/business if one tries to
interrupt the natural flow of supply and demand. Clearly understood by Germany
hence why they don't interfere with theirs.
