I do every day, I have rose bushes in both my front and back gardens. I've also grown out of schoolboy sniggering at body painting.

You definitely need to get out more. That's not body painting but strapless bra's. Maybe a visit to your optician's is in order?

What an excellent politician

"He warned that no extra government funds would be given to construction companies to have the work finished on time. "There will be no budget increase, because, for example, instead of paying 10 workers during two months, you can pay 20 to work for 30 days," Mr Rebelo explained."

Oh crap, I thought it was too good to be true, it's neither the UK or EU.

Ah poor muppet

Shouldn't have got that close to Rebekkah.

Life of Riley

"The one that gets me is the holiday home for police officers. Even at the time in 1991 people knew there was a cover-up - there was emerging evidence - and it is absolutely appalling that they are brazen enough that they would take the money."

End of an Era

Lobbying Law

"Instead of addressing the prime minister's promise to 'shine the light of transparency' on lobbying, this flawed legislation will mean we'll all be back in a year facing another scandal," he said.

It is a dog's breakfast." Couldn't have said it better myself!

Who would you believe?

Transport Secretary says HS2 on budget at £42.6bn

IEA says HS2 could eventually cost £80bn

Now who really is stupid enough to believe a politician?

Atos has become dogged by allegations of bad practice in recent years yet has continued to win massive contracts from the UK Government. In a written response to the House of Commons (on 11 June 2013) about the respective costs of Atos and Capita, Mark Hoban, Minister of State for Work and Pensions, revealed that Atos was awarded approximately £1.6bn worth of contracts.

Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls has also said he is "concerned about the rising costs" and said the project must not be given "a blank cheque".

A more expensive failure would be to fund half of it then cancel the project, something Labour has been very good at in the past.

Mr Burns said the government would continue with the "crucial business" of getting HS2 ready for construction in 2017.

Release the hounds!
