Guy, shocking as it seems I agree with much of what you have said, where we disagree is the cause of the shift. If I understand many of your posts you would attribute them to things such as socialism, I'm more like Eisenhower, I fear the military industrial complex which along with golbalzation presents a greater enemy than Ike ever envisioned.
By the way Glenn just speaks Aussie slang which sometimes is confused for English.

Firstly before I have areal discussion take down what you have as a profile . Profiles are for personal info about the user not a back door way of dissing people here or the project when you do that maybe i'll have a real conversation but I am very offened what you have there .

That's like me Saying: Stop your Constant Frakking USA Bashing. I would never say it, because IT IS PART OF YOUR PERSONAL BEING or PROFILE Of You As A Person. You HATE The US. That's Cool. No Biggie.

A Person's Profile includes A Person's Views. I've Read Many A Profile which Includes Views outside of "Personel Info" and believe it is part of Who The Person Is-their Personal Profile.

Get It? No? Too Bad.

Bound For IT IT There There

May we All have a METAMORPHOSIS. REASON. GOoD JUDGEMENT and LOVE and ORDER!!!!!

I do not hate the U.S . Yes there are a few thing I don't like and would like to see changed as I believe it will make you a great country .
The difference between me and GUY is I will say it to your face or here . Not on a part of the web site few will see .
We have all been told by the powers that be not to use a profile to do what GUY has chosen to do . If he wants to say that stuff then at least have the courage to do it where we will all see it .
I am surprised that someone whom was in the forces would do something like that I would have thought he has more balls .

If he had put that he was in the forces I would be able to understand where he is coming from . I have yet to hear military people say anything other than what he says .

Glenn---Guy says: "I've sworn multiple oaths to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic both as an enlisted guy and as an officer."

He is military of some kind....

He was in intelligence-gathering by interception of Signals intelligence (often contracted to SIGINT) and "electronic intelligence" — ELINT. That could be any of the five branches for they all do it.

In 2000 the day the U>S was going to send the troops in to afghanistan I was Hacked by Lock head Martin whom control all the surveillance equipment that is in place spying on all of us .

I was using the puter and noticed it had slowed down so I look at my network and realized somebody was stealing my info . I tried to stop it and could not so did a who's on the ip address that was doing it and it was Lock head Martin . I then shutdown the system turned of my modem and reported it to my isp with a warning that if they did not stop I would sue them for a denial of service . Lucky they had only got 20meg as I had a slow connection back then . but I then went out of my way to find out everything I could about what they had done and why . I can tell you that the data centre's you think are being built now have already been there before 2000 and everything that you do is monitored . They do it by tapping into the backbone of the net before the info get's into American servers . If you type certain words it sets of alarms at these places and you then go up 1 level to being watched closely and each time you type another word you will step up 1 more level . It does not matter if you are just being curious . I advise everyone to Google them self's once in a while and spend some time seeing what is out there . I would also advise people to leave as small a electronics foot print as you possible can to protect your self as the info you leave can and possibly one day will be used against you and can give the wrong impression to the powers that be .

Big Brother has been here for a long time and is much bigger that you all think

The reason they tap into the backbone of the net before the info reaches the servers is to get around the constitution as the info hasn't got into your country yet . They can't use the info to take you to court but it is the first step in investigation you , the last step is the phone tap . Which by the time they get the court order they already have info to get the tap and just need a little more legal info to charge you . Always watch you network connection and if info is going out and you are not doing anything and don't or can't stop it do a quick who's and then shut the system down and see your isp or a layer .

Public network businesses who are in charge of both telephones as well as computer networks are supposed to allow most contents to pass through their lines.

Meaning with that if they sometimes do not like what you do, they pass it along to the police which then prosecutes the matter further, if necessary.

Telephone tapping may not always be possibly intercepted or recognized. This supposedly goes for mobile phones as well.

If they find out that you may have carried out something wrong or illegal, you may end up with a fine at best. Or even worse, you may end up in a prison cell.

If you use a smart phone be careful . They are handy but !!!

If you make a call and you hear some echo , beep or scrambled noise hang up you probably have a tap on the phone or the number you called has a tap . Sometimes the scrambled noise can be a bad connection but be very careful if it happens a lot you have a phone tap on your phone . You will hear these noises at the start of the conversation and have to be quick to hear them or you may miss it . Be careful very careful even with texting .

This thread reminds me of George Carlin’s Seven Dirty Words. Today we have NSA’s seven dirty words.

Everyone the world over should start and end all dialogs with these 7 words. LOL!

Talk about job creation. (^8

Exactly. Try pinging www.fbi.gov, for example. You end up nowhere.

If, I may, so much for the good. So much for the bad.

It's so much easier to visit http://www.nsa.gov on the web than for example "http://www.kgb.com .

Again, Russia is not a dictatorship anymore. Vladimir Putin has done anything wrong to anyone as far as I know.

But if we look at history, things are a little different, both here and there.

I guess we all know who to blame, Saddam Hussein, Benito Mussolini and so on.

Who is in charge of Verizon, by the way?

Is it the software you may have perhaps spying at you?

Or are you perhaps rather supposed to be able to spy at someone else out there?

Words like "pipe bomb, anthrax, hijacking" and the like would probably work well.

The NSA is collecting data from ALL phone carriers foreign and domestic.
The NSA is intercepting most internet traffic within the USA and beyond.
The NSA has access to all searches through Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc...
The 2 Billion dollar data center in Utah is just for show, to divert attention from what is really going on.

Don't you feel safe now?

Perhaps we should also have a look at the reasons for possible wiretapping.

There may be many reasons for this. It is not impossible to mention all and every reasons for this "on the spot", but drugs and economic crime are two important reasons for wiretapping.

You may also want to wiretap a business for the purpose of economical gain.

Also wiretapping for political or "personal" reasons are two main points to take into consideration.

Really, most Americans are good people.

Remember former U.S. President Richard W. Nixon, who by means of wiretapping his own telephone conversations pulled the plug on his own business (or rather leadership that is).

Was it perhaps another story there before this thing ever happened?

What if it rather happened today?

I'll check it out.
