How do I get seti to run in the back round (start up) when anyone logs into the computer?

Put a shortcut to the proper exe file in Startup
folder.

On your 2 computers that do not have GPU's, you can select the protected install option and that will install BOINC as a service.

On the 2 computers that do have running GPU's, you will only be able to do that if you discontinue use of them as BOINC cannot detect the GPU's when in service install mode.

From what I recall, you can set BOINC to run on any Windows user log-in - you don't need the service installation.

On the other hand, if you want it to run even without user log-in, then only the service option will work, which is mutually exclusive with GPU processing, unfortunately.
