And here we goooooooooooooooooooooo.......... My rigs are now getting the one hour deferral and message that the servers are down for maintenance. Looks like v7 rollout might indeed be commencing. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

V7 is showing up on application page now ! But, only CPU apps, i'm not surprised through, they'll want to populate the CPU app_version peak flop count average statistics before they put the GPU apps on. Setiathome Applications Claggy |

V7 is showing up on application page now ! Is that why having just upgraded BOINC and done a project reset on host 5833982 I am now getting both 6.03 and 6.10 tasks resent to run my GPU but not getting any CPU work at all? |

V7 is showing up on application page now ! No, that's because you're running anonymous platform on host 5833982, you can only do v6 tasks at the moment, Note: 6.03 tasks are tasks that will be run by the CPU app, and 6.10 tasks are tasks that will be run on a GPU app, so you do have CPU tasks. V7 is showing up on application page now ! Yes but I had a 6.03 task running on the GPU and the CPU sitting idle! However, since the last server connection, all the tasks which were labelled 6.03 have been relabelled 6.10. |

V7 is showing up on application page now ! I think Boinc remembers the old version number of a Wu after a reset, by gets updated on the next scheduler request. Claggy |

Sounds like it will be tomorrow for the gpu application(s)? I plan to go stock pending the installer next week, but don[t want to change over to the old v6 stock gpu app. Another Fred Support SETI@home when you search the Web with GoodSearch or shop online with GoodShop. |

So... what could pfb stand for? The mb_splitters are no more, there's only ap_splitters and pfb_splitters. No explanation in the Glossary yet. personal file bitch? ;-) |

The current splitter has standard, known FFT artifacts causing dips in sensitivity at the edges of workunits and rolloffs at the edges of the whole 2.5MHz band, but this new splitter will create workunits that exhibit more even sensitivity across the whole spectrum, as well as more sensivity in general to find singals in the noise. |
